A forum for scholarly contributions to the renewal of theology and biblical interpretation

Welcome to the Canadian-American Theological Association (CATA), a collaborative forum bridging theological discourse across North America. Journal

The Canadian-American Theological Review (CATR) is the primary academic publication of CATA, intended to facilitate conversation on matters of theology, Scripture, and culture. Published twice annually, the journal includes contributions from leading theological and biblical scholars from around the world.

Conferences

CATA regularly holds two annual conferences, one during Canada’s Congress of Humanities and the Social Sciences (where the business meeting occurs), and a Fall conference co-sponsored with a theological college or seminary, held either in Canada or the United States. Members are welcome and encouraged to participate in both as they represent different demographics and topical emphases.
